Ethanol blending in Petrol to be increased from existing 8.5% to 20% by 2025

Ethanol blending in Petrol will be increased from existing 8.5 per cent to 20 per cent by 2025. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today informed that the target year for achieving 20 per cent ethanol blending in petrol which was initially kept as 2030 has been further reduced by 5 more years.
