Eid Milad-un-Nabi, birthday of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad celebrated in various parts of country

Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad was celebrated with religious fervour and due reverence in various parts of the country on Thursday. Milad Mehfils and Seerat Conferences were held where Ulemas or religious scholars highlighted the life and teachings of Hazrat Muhammad. Milad processions were also organised to mark the occasion.   In Delhi, the main procession was taken out in walled city, which culminated at Jama Masjid after passing through the traditional route.
