In football, Odisha FC defeated  North East United FC by 6-nil in Durand Cup at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati. Earlier, in another match Bengaluru FC defeated  Jamshedpur FC by 2-1, at Kishore Bharati Krinangan, Kolkata. In the opening match, yesterday, Mohammedan SC beat defending champions Goa FC by 3-1 at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata.
