Duleep Trophy: Karun's 77 takes India Red to 140/2

Karun Nair hit an unbeaten 77 as India Red reached 140 for 2 in their first innings in reply to India Green's 440 all out at stumps on the second day of the Duleep Trophy match in Bangaluru today.  Karun, who had scored 99 and 166 not out in the previous game against India Blue, picked up 14 fours during his enterprising knock. The other opener Abhimanyu Easwaran was retired hurt. India Red still trail India Green by 300 runs.

India Blue beat defending champion India Red to win Duleep Trophy

India Blue thrashed defending champion India Red by an innings and 187 runs in the final to win the Duleep Trophy at Dindigul, Tamil Nadu today.  Spinners Deepak Jagbir Hooda and Saurabh Kumar shared 5 wickets each in just 10.5 overs on the fourth day to bundle out India Red for 172 in the second innings.
