Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.3 %; S&P 500 slips 0.1 %

The S&P and the Dow indexes retreated from record highs yesterday as energy and other sectors sensitive to economic growth tumbled on concerns over rising COVID-19 cases. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.3 percent and the S&P 500 slipped 0.1 percent. On the other hand, the Nasdaq Composite index gained 0.2 percent.
