Dow Jones Industrial Average falls 0.3 per cent, S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite index fall marginally

The three major US stocks fell yesterday but stayed near closing record highs posted in consecutive sessions, as investors weighed more strong U.S. economic data against nervousness about upcoming quarterly earnings reports.   The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.3 per cent, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite index, both fell marginally by 0.1 per cent.
