Dow and S&P 500 end with losses staying within 1 percentage point of their record closing highs

The Dow and the S&P 500 ended with losses yesterday, however, both stocks remained within one percentage point of their record closing highs. Investors showed cautious approach after the news of a global minimum corporate tax rate, lingering inflation fears, and a lack of market-moving catalysts.
