4th Test: Joe Root and Ollie Robinson take England 302/7 at stumps in Ranchi

England were 302 for seven in their first innings against India at Stumps on Day One in the fourth Test at JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. Joe Root on 106 and Ollie Robinson on 31 were at the crease when stumps were drawn this evening. Earlier, England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to bat first. For the hosts, Akash Deep took three wickets while Mohammed Siraj got two. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin bagged one each. India currently lead the five-match series 2-1.
