Tour game: Australia XI 24/0 at stumps against India on day 2

Australia XI were 24 for no loss at stumps against India on the second day of the tour game in Sydney.  Earlier, put into bat, India scored 358 runs.    The first day's play was abandoned yesterday without a ball being bowled.  Incessant rain kept the players away as inclement weather did not relent at all.

Fourth ODI between India and West Indies to be played in Mumbai today

In Cricket, the fourth One-day International of the 5-match series between India and the West Indies will be played at the Cricket Club of India, CCI in Mumbai today.  The match will begin at 1:30 pm. With two matches to go, the series is currently tied at 1-1. With today's encounter, international cricket will return to the CCI, which last hosted a Test in 2009 and an ODI back in 2006.

India win Guwahati one day international beating West Indies by 8 wickets

India have won the first match of the five-match one day international Cricket series against the West Indies by eight wickets in Guwahati. Chasing a target of 323 runs, India made 326 in 42.1 overs, losing two wickets. Rohit Sharma made a superb 152 off 117 balls and remained not out. 1st ODI of 5-match series between India & West Indies to be played in Guwahati tomorrow

In Cricket, the first ODI of the five-match series between India and the West Indies will be played in Guwahati tomorrow. The match will begin at 1.30 p.m.  The second ODI will be played in Visakhapatnam on the 24th of this month, the third on the 27th in Pune, the 4th on the 29th in Mumbai and the fifth and final in Thiruvananthapuram on the 1st of next month.  After ODIs, both countries will play three Twenty-20 matches. The first T20 will be played in Kolkata on the 4th of November.

India were 173 for 4 in their first innings of the second and final cricket test in reply to 311 by West Indies at Hyderabad

India were 308 for four in their first innings against the West Indies at stumps on day two of the second and final Cricket test in Hyderabad. Rishabh Pant on 85 and Ajinkya Rahane 75 were at the crease.  Prithvi Shaw made 70 and captain Virat Kohli 45.  Earlier, West Indies were all out for 311 runs in their first innings. Roston Chase made 106 for the visitors. While Umesh Yadav took 6 wickets conceding 88 runs, Kuldeep Yadav bagged three and Ravichandran Ashwin one.
