Country's power generation capacity from solar increased 197 percent in last 5 years

Country's power generation capacity from solar has increased 197 percent in the last five years. The solar capacity of the country has increased from 21,651 megawatt to 64,380 megawatt in the last five years. This was stated by New and Renewable Energy and Power Minister RK Singh in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.
