China Open Badminton: P V Sindhu, Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy enter pre-quarterfinals

In badminton, P V Sindhu and the duo of Manu Attri and B.Sumeeth Reddy today progressed to the pre-quarterfinals of the women's singles and Men's doubles of China Open at  Changzhou.  However, Saina Nehwal bowed out after a narrow loss.  Third-seeded Sindhu defeated World No. 39 Saena Kawakami of Japan 21-15, 21-13 in the opening round.
