CBDT issues refunds of over Rs 1.82 lakh crore to more than 2 crore taxpayers

Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT has issued refunds of over one lakh 82 thousand 995 crore rupees to more than two crore taxpayers from 1st April, 2021 to 21st February this year. In a tweet, Income Tax India said, the refunds of 65 thousand 498 crore rupees have been issued in over two crore four lakh cases and corporate tax refunds of over one lakh 17 thousand crore rupees have been issued in over two lakh 30 thousand cases.
