Sensex adds 87 points in all time high close in afternoon trade to 36,635

Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange today added 87 points in yesterday's all time high close in afternoon trade to 36,635. Amid positive Asian and European share markets, Nifty at National Stock Exchange was also up 15 points at 11,038.  Both domestic stocks today gained for sixth straight session. Rupee in afternoon deals at forex market appreciated 12 paise to 68 rupees and 46 paise against the US dollar.

1st India Tourism Mart to be organized in New Delhi from 16th of Sept.

The first India Tourism Mart will be organized in New Delhi from 16th of September to create a global tourism mart for India on lines of major international travel marts.  Briefing reporters in New Delhi today, Tourism Minister K J Alphons said, it will boost the tourism sector in the country. Sensex climbs 223 points, Nifty surges 69 points

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 223 points, or 0.64 per cent, to 35,127 in afternoon trade. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also surged 69 points, or 0.65 percent, to 10,663. The rupee at the Forex market appreciated 10 paise to 67 rupees and five paise against the US dollar.
