Bureau of Indian Standards grants 630 out of 661 licences to MSME toy manufacturers till March 28

The Government on Wednesday said Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has granted 630 out of 661 licences to MSME toy manufacturers till 28th of March. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Ashwini Kumar Choubey said safety of Toys is under compulsory BIS certification from 1st January last year.
