The government today approved a revival plan for BSNL and MTNL, announcing that neither the two companies are being closed nor disinvested. Briefing reporters about the cabinet decision, Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, the Cabinet has approved a revival plan and gave in-principle approval for the merger of BSNL and MTNL.
