BCCI announces schedule for India-West Indies series

India will begin its home series against the West Indies with a Test match at Rajkot on the 4th of next month.  The BCCI today announced the fixtures of the seven-week home series against the West Indies, which will culminate on the 11th November.  In a release, BCCI Secretary, Amitabh Choudhary said India will play two Tests, five ODIs and three Twenty20s during this tenure.

BCCI names Rishabh Pant in 18-member Indian squad for first 3-Tests against England

The BCCI today named young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant  in the 18-member Indian squad for the first three Tests against England. Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan in top-bracket of BCCI contracts

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a significant move today introduced an A plus category in the central contracts for which only five players were picked.  They are batting troika of skipper Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shikhar Dhawan along with pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah.
