BCCI suspends IPL 2021 after several players test positive for Corona

Indian Premier League Governing Council and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has postponed the 14th edition of Indian Premier League in view of surge in covid cases in the country. The decision was taken unanimously in an emergency meeting yesterday.   BCCI secretary Jay Shah said that safety of each and every person involved with the league was the priority of the board.
