In Cricket, Bangladesh beat India by five runs in the second One-Day International in Dhaka to clinch the three-match series. Chasing a victory target of 272 runs, India made 266 for 9 in 50 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma tried valiantly at the end, walking out half fit launching into an array of shots, but he fell one big shot away from taking India across the line. The third ODI will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram on the 10th of this month.
