India make winning start to defence of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy

In Men's Hockey, India began their title defence of Asian Champions Trophy with a stunning 11-0 win over hosts Oman in their opening round-robin match at Muscat last night.  Dilpreet Singh netted a hat-trick, with Harmanpreet Singh scoring a brace. Lalit Upadhyay, Nilakanta Sharma, Mandeep Singh, Gurjant Singh, Akashdeep Singh and Varun Kumar were the other goal scorers.
