Asian stock markets today close mixed; London's FTSE-100 falls 0.7%

Asian stock markets today closed mixed. Japan's Nikkei-225 appreciated 0.6 percent and China's Shanghai Composite index added 0.1 percent. On the other hand, South Korea's Kospi declined 0.7 percent and Singapore's Straits Times index slipped 0.1 percent.  Hong Kong's Hang Seng index ended flat. Asian markets and European Markets end mixed

Asian markets today ended mixed. Japan's Nikkei-225 gained 1.2 percent and South Korea's Kospi rose 0.6 percent. Singapore's Straits Times index and China's Shanghai Composite, both ended flat while Hong Kong's Hang Seng declined 0.3 percent.    European Markets were also mixed in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100 climbed 1.5 percent and France's CAC-40 was up 0.3 percent Germany's DAX was trading flat.

Asian markets today ended with losses. Hong Kong's Hang Seng plunged 3.1 per cent, Japan's Nikkei-225 declined 1.7 per cent and Singapore's Straits Times fell 1.1 per cent. South Korea's Kospi slipped 0.9 per cent and China's Shanghai Composite index ended half a percent down.     European Markets also logged losses intra-day.
