Asian Stocks: South Korea's Kospi and Hong Kong's Hang Seng rise 0.8 percent each

Asian Stocks today closed with gains. Japan's Nikkei-225 climbed 1.6 percent. Both South Korea's Kospi and Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.8 percent each.
