Ashleigh Barty makes shock exit in semi-finals at Australian Open

In women's singles, world number one Australia's Ashley Barty made a shock exit after losing by Sofia Kenin of USA today. Kenin trounced the top seed 7-6(8-6), 7-5. In the second semifinal, Garbine Muguruza of Spain defeated Simona Halep of Romania in straight sets 7-6(10-8), 7-5.
