Indian women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand advanced to the semifinals of the All England Badminton Championships in Birmingham. The Indian team defeated their Chinese opponents, Li Wen Mei and Liu Xuan Xuan, with a final score tally of 21-14, 18-21, 21-12.

Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia has won the All England Badminton Championships men's title as he defeated Denmark's Viktor Axelsen in the summit clash. Indonesian badminton team were forced to withdraw from the All England Badminton Championships in Birmingham. A passenger on their flight to Britain tested positive for coronavirus.
