3 major US stocks fell marginally from record closing levels

The three major US stocks fell marginally yesterday from record closing levels as investors digested a batch of corporate earnings results. An expected policy announcement from the Federal Reserve on Wednesday helped to limit the losses.   The Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite index slipped up to 0.2 per cent.
