Lok Sabha passed the Multi-State Co-operative Societies (Amendment) Bill, 2022 on Tuesday. The Bill seeks to amend the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002. Coal production increases by 29% in April, 2022

Coal production has increased by 29 per cent in April as compared to corresponding period of previous year. Over 66 million tonnes coal production was registered in April. The Coal Ministry said, coal dispatch increased by 8.66 per cent to 71.30 metric tonnes from 65.62 metric tonnes during April as compared to April, 2020. Gross GST revenue collection hits record Rs 1.68 lakh crore in April, 2022

The Gross Goods and Services Tax, GST revenue collection has touched an all-time high of around 1.68 lakh crore rupees in April 2022. The total GST collection in April was one lakh 67 thousand 540 crore rupees.
