Gold Rises to ?62,192 per 10g at MCX; Silver Up at ?72,167 per kg. Global Rates – Gold at 2,045.80 per Ounce, Silver at 23.11 per Ounce

Today, gold was trading higher at the Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was up 228 rupees to trade at 62,192 rupees per ten gram. Silver futures for March contracts was up 394 rupees to trade at 72,167 rupees per kilogram when reports last came in.   In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2,045 dollars and 80 cents per ounce at COMEX. Silver was trading up at 23 dollars and 11 cents per ounce in the intra-day trade when reports last came in.
