The Twenty20 World Cup Cricket Tournament kicked off in Sri Lanka this evening. In the opening match at Hambantota, Hosts Sri Lanka is taking on Zimbabwe in a Group "C' fixture at 7.30 pm. Zimbabwe won the toss but chose to field first. India will begin their campaign against Afghanistan tomorrow at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The encounter will begin at 7.30 pm. In an earlier match tomorrow at the same venue, Australia are slated to face Ireland at 3.30 pm. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary alternately in Hindi and English of tomorrow's matches on the national hook up and additional frequencies.
