T20 World Cup: South Africa lost to India by 17 runs

Chasing a target of 187 set by India at St. Lucia, South Africa failed to out perform and lost to India by 17.runs wicket in the ICC World T20 Championship. India scored 186 for 5. Suresh Raina was the highest scorer who made 101 runs off sixty balls. South Africa won the toss and elected to field first. Proving his captains decision correct Kleinveldt struck in the very first over claiming Indian Opener Murli Vijay's wicket for duck. Then Kallis got rid off Dinesh Kartik playing on 16 in 6th over when 32 were on the board.
