T20 World Cup: NZ wins opening Group 'D' match

New Zealand have won their opening Group 'D' match in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup cricket tournament. At Pallekele Cricket Stadium in Kandy today, they beat Bangladesh by 59 runs. Set to score 192 runs for a win, Bangladesh finished with 132 for 8 in their twenty overs. Earlier, put in to bat, the Kiwis made 191 for three in the stipulated overs. Brendom McCullum was the top scorer with a fine 123. In another World Cup Twenty 20 fixture at 7.30 P.M. tonight, England will meet Afghanistan at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo in Group 'A'
