T20 World Cup: Lanka vs Pak in first semi-final today

Hosts Sri Lanka will lock horns with Pakistan in the first semi-final of the ICC Twenty-20 World Cup Cricket tournament at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo today. The match will begin at 7 PM. Sri Lanka had qualified to the semifinals by beating defending champions England by 19 runs; while Pakistan made it to the last four stage when India failed to better its net run rate, even after a win over South Africa by 1 run in the final super-8 match.In the other semi-final, scheduled for tomorrow, Australia will clash with the West Indies at Colombo. The final match of the competition will be played on Sunday.Meanwhile, in the first semi-final of the Women's Twenty-20 World Cup, England will take on New Zealand at Colombo today. The match will begin at 2:30 PM. England had won all its group matches and were the table leaders in Group-A, while New Zealand, with 2 wins from 3 games, were second in Group-B.In the second semi-final, Australia will meet the West Indies tomorrow.All India Radio will broadcast ball-by-ball commentary on the Men's and Women's semi-final matches today and tomorrow. The commentary on Women's Semi-finals will start at 2 PM; while the commentary on Men's semi-finals will be available from 6:30 PM onwards. The commentary can be heard on Rajdhani Channel and FM Gold channels. Besides, updates will be available on FM Rainbow and will start from 3:05 PM onwards.During the commentary, news bulletins of Rajdhani Channel will be shifted to Indraprastha Channel while programmes on FM Gold Network will stand cancelled. Major bulletins of FM Gold at 2 PM, 2:30 PM, 8:45 PM and 9 PM will be broadcast on FM Rainbow channel network.AIR will also broadcast commentaries on the Women's and Men's final matches on Sunday.
