T K Viswanathan will be new Secretary General of the Lok Sabha. He will replace P D T Achary who relinquishes office on 30th of this month. The Speaker Mrs. Meira Kumar has appointed Viswanathan to the post. Mr. Viswanathan is a former Law Secretary and presently Adviser to the Law minister.
