At the same venue later, Australia face West Indies at 2.30 A.M.India, who have so far lost both their Super Eight matches in Group 'F', still have a mathematical chance of making the semi-finals. They will have to beat Sri Lanka by at least 20 runs, or 13 to 15 deliveries to spare, depending on the total they chase. Their hope also rests on Australia beating the West Indies. At present, India are placed fourth in the points table. The first two spots are occupied by Sri Lanka and Australia. West Indies are in the third place in the Group.
