India ended their England tour on a sour note, as they lost the lone Twenty-20 series by 3 runs at Birmingham last night. Opting to bat first, the hosts made 180 for 7, courtesy skipper Eoin Morgan's quick-fire 71, comprising 3 fours and 7 sixes. Paceman Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers for India. He bagged 3 wickets. Chasing 181 for victory, Team India could only make 177 for 5 in the stipulated 20 overs, despite the heroics from Virat Kohli and an end-of-innings cameo from captain MS Dhoni. Kohli made 66, while Dhoni scored an unbeaten 27. Moeen Ali, Steven Finn, Harry Gurney and Chris Woakes took a wicket each. Morgan was adjudged player of the match. Earlier in the tour, after losing the Test series 1-3, Team India had bounced back with a superb performance in the ODIs defeating the hosts with the same margin.
