Syrian protesters take to streets, call for international protection

Syrian protesters took to the streets on friday to call for international protection. Democracy activists called on the United Nations to send international observers to Syria and urged support from Damascus's key ally Russia a day after President Dmitry Medvedev said some protesters were terrorists.
