In Syria, several thousand people have been evacuated from four besieged towns under a deal between the Government and rebels. Individuals from 2 pro-government towns in the northwestern province of Idlib are being transported to Government-held areas, while People from 2 pro-opposition towns near the capital Damascus are heading to rebel-held areas. <br/><br/>The four towns have been under siege since 2015. Last month, United Nation described the situation in the four towns as catastrophic, with more than 64,000 civilians trapped in a cycle of daily violence and deprivation. Many people are reported to have died as a result of shortages of food or medicine.
