The Syrian Government has announced to hold a national dialogue to resolve the crisis in the country. Minister of Information Dr. Adnan Mahmoud said in a press conference in Damascus on Friday the comprehensive national dialogue would include all Syrian governorates. According to official news agency Sana, Dr. Mahmoud added the Government was currently implementing a comprehensive reform package that includes political, economic and social reform. Meanwhile, reports quoting witnesses say six people were killed in the country on Friday due to firing by security personnel on demonstrators. Dr. Mahmoud, however, said the Army arrested several members of the armed groups and seized large quantities of weapons and ammunition.
