In Syria, at least 18 civilians, including two children, were killed in an air strike on Khan Sheikhun town today that released toxic gas. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, those killed in the town of northwest Syria, had died from suffocation and the effects of the gas. The Britain-based Monitoring Group said, the strikes caused many people to choke. It also said, the Syrian Government or Russian jets pounded the town. Meanwhile, a two-day conference on the future of Syria and the region will begin in Brussels today. It will bring together representatives of over 70 countries, international organizations and civil society.
