A symposium was organized yesterday in Katepurna sanctuary in Washim district in Maharashtra at the initiative of the forest department on the occasion of World Tiger Day. The aim of Tiger day is to create awareness about the conservation of tigers. Various programs to this effect were held. Students from Lakshmichand school from Shelu Bazar participated in the event. Forest range officer Pawan Jadhav imparted valuable information to students about Katepurna sanctuary and the importance of Tiger Day through a slide show.&nbsp;<br />”<br />”<br />
