The two days zonal level symposium of eastern states on carrying of best electoral practices inaugurated on Monday at Bhubaneswar by the Chief Election Commissioner Dr. S Y Quareshi. The symposium would deliberate on the best electoral roll management, voter's education, participation of the youths in the electoral processes and expenditure control. Chief Electoral Officers of west Bengal, Bihar , Chatisgarh, Jharkhand and Orissa along with 25 officers engaged in electoral processes are also participating in the symposium. It was attended by Election Commissioner V S Sampath and Hari Sanker Berhama.
