The Centre today condemned Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin's recent utterances against India saying that his designation as a global terrorist by the United States is well deserved. <br/><br/>A Home Ministry official said in New Delhi that the government had been describing Salahuddin as a terrorist all along and his own remarks had confirmed that. <br/><br/>The official said, Salahuddin was also instrumental in providing funds to terrorists and separatists and giving other kinds of assistance to the militants.<br/><br/>The comment of the Home Ministry official came in response to a media query about Salahuddin's interview with a Pakistani news channel. <br/><br/>In the interview, the Hizbul terrorist had said that there is nothing wrong with Pakistan funding his terror group and his outfit can attack any place in India.
