Defending champion Saina Nehwal has reached the women's singles final of the 120,000 US Dollar Syed Modi International Badminton tournament. In the semi-final in Lukcnow on Saturday, Olympic bronze medallist Saina disposed off fourth seed Nichaon Jindapon of Thailand in straight games 21-10 21-16. In the Men's Singles, world No. 5 K Srikanth entered the final for the second successive time with a hard-fought victory over H S Prannoy. Top seed Srikanth overcame his Indian compatriot in three games 12-21 21-12 21-14. In the SY men's doubles, it was curtains for fifth seeds Manu Attri and B Sumeeth Reddy as they were defeated by fourth seeds Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov of Russia 12-21 18-21.
