Ace Indian shuttler K Shrikanth clinched the men's single title defeating Chinese Huang Yuxiang in Syed Modi International Grand prix Gold Championship at Lucknow. In a very interesting final match played at Lucknow this evening, K Srikanth won first set by 21-13 quite easily but in the second set Huang gave a tough fight to Srikanth and took away it by 21-14.In the last set Srikanth took a lead from the beginning and finally defeated the Chinese player by 21-14. In women's single final, Japanese Sayaka Sato thrashed out Korean Sung Ji Hyun by a score of 12-21,21-18,21-18. In the mixed doubles title Indonesian pair Praveen Jordan and Deby Susanto defeated Thai pair Puavaranukroh Dechapol and Sapisree Tairattanchai in three sets by 23-25, 21-09, 21-16. While in the Men's double match India's Pranaav Jerry Chopra and Akshay Dewalkar clinched the title defeating Malasian V Shem Goh and Wee Kiong Tan by 14-21, 24-22,21-08.
