Third seed Inthanon Ratchanok of Thailand won the women's singles title of the Syed Modi India Open Grand Prix badminton championship in Lucknow after she got a walk-over by another Thai and second seeded Porntip Buranaprasertsuk.In men's singles, unseeded Saurabh Verma of India clash with former world champion Taufik Hidayat of Indonesia Sunday evening. Saurabh on Saturday knocked out 16th seed Suppanuy Avinhinsanon of Thailand 26-24, 21-13 in the semi-finals. Meanwhile, the Indian challenge in the mixed doubles came to an end after V Dijju and Jwala Gutta were beaten by Indonesian duo of Muhammad Rijal and Debby Susanto 21-15, 21-12.
