In reply to Australia's first innings score of 527 for 7 declared, India were 71 for one at the end of the second Day's play today in the fourth and final Cricket Test at Sydney. Rohit Sharma on 40 and Lokesh Rahul on 31 were at the crease . Opener Murali Vijay was out for a duck in the opening over after he was caught behind off paceman Mitchell Starc.Earlier today, after resuming their innings at the overnight score of 348 for 2 , hosts Australia steadily moved ahead as Skipper Steve Smith completed his fourth century of the series. He scored 117 before being removed by Umesh Yadav. Shane Watson missed out on another century as he was sent back by Mohammad Shami at 81. Besides Smith, David Warner was the other centurion. Chris Rogers, and Joe Burns also made valuable contributions.Australia has already won the 4-match series.
