Sydney Cricket Test: England 167 for 3 in first innings against Australia

In the fifth and final Cricket Test at Sydney, England were 167 for 3 in their first innings at the close of play on the second day on Tuesday. Alastair Cook on 61 and nightwatchman James Anderson on one, were at the crease at stumps. Earlier, resuming the day at their overnight 134 for four, Australia were all out for 280 runs in their first innings. England retained the Ashes when they took a two-one winning lead by winning the fourth match at Melbourne by an innings and 157 runs. But Australia could still square the series at 2-2, if they record victory in the on-going Test.
