In Bihar, swollen rivers have submerged vast areas under paddy cultivation of the state. AIR Patna correspondent reports, farmers are finding it tough to procure fodder for cattle heads in the flood affected areas. Seedlings spread over 10 lakh hectares have been washed away due to floods in Bhagalpur, Katihar, Muzaffarpur and Sitamarhi districts of the state. The worst affected district is Bhagalpur where two lakh people affected by flood. Banana , maize and capsicum crops worth over 10 crore rupees have been destroyed by incessant rain and subsequently flooding. Rising water level of Bagmati and Lakhandei rivers have posed serious threat in Tirhut division. In Uttarakhand, roads continue to remain blocked in all most all major districts on Saturday. According to Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre, flood-like situation has emerged at many places in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts.
