He defeated German Dieter Domke in the second round 21-15, 20-22, 13-21, while HS Prannoy will face Chinese Taipei's 15th seed Tien Chen Chou for a place in the quarterfinals today. He beat seventh seed Boonsak Ponsana of Thailand, 18-21, 21-13, 21-12.In the Men's Doubles quarter finals, the Indian duo of Akshay Dewalkar and Pranaav Jerry Chopra will slug it out against the top seeded Korean pair of Sung Hyun Ko and Yong Dae Lee today.
