Virdhawal Khade was the lone Indian swimmer who could qulaify for the 50m freestyle finals in Asian games at Guangzhou. The rest fell of the Indian Swimmers could not make it to finals. Khade was third in his heat with a timing of 22.98secs. He was 0.54 seconds behind China's Wu Zhi Lu, who qualified with the best timing among those in fray.
