Swedish Education Minister Anna Ekstrom called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of Vibrant Gujarat Summit today. MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said Prime Minister invited Sweden to invest in green technologies, Smart Cities, Skill India and Digital India. <br/><br/>Mr Modi said India and Sweden's trade and investment relations are strong with present trade of 2 billion dollars. Both sides have agreed to increase trade and investment to 5 billion dollars over the next three years. <br/><br/>He also expressed gratitude for Sweden's support for India's membership of Missile Technology Control Regime and Nuclear Suppliers Group and permanent membership of a reformed UN Security Council.<br/><br/>Mr Modi also held a meeting with Israeli Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel. He expressed happiness at the significant progress in partnership with Israel in the agriculture sector. <br/><br/>He said both countries should cooperate in new areas such as education, science, technology, research and innovation. He said India is also keen to learn from the start-up ecosystem of Israel and its incubation centers.
