Swearing in ceremony of Kerala cabinet to be held tomorrow

<span style="color: #222222;">In Kerala, Preparations are in full swing at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram for the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected cabinet to be held tomorrow. Governor Arif Mohammed Khan will administer oath at 3.30 in the evening.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Due to Covid pandemic, the function will be limited to a few selected invitees. Everyone is bound to produce a covid negative result taken before 48 hours and Covid Vaccination Certificate.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, the Kerala High Court sought explanation from the Government, regarding it's decision with respect to the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected cabinet tomorrow, by involving over 500 persons. A public interest litigation was filed before the high court, as the government planned to hold a grand swearing in function amidst the triple lockdown in Thiruvananthapuram. The High Court has also advised the government to limit the number of people taking part in the ceremony tomorrow.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile the portfolio allocation of the new Pinarayi Vijayan led second LDF cabinet to be sworn in tomorrow has been officially announced.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will be in charge of Home Affairs, IT and Public Governance. K. N. Balagopal will be the Finance minister and Veena George the new Health Minister.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The portfolio allocation for other Ministers are as follows.V Sivankutty will be the Minister for Education, P Rajeev the Minister for Industries,K Radhakrishnan the Minister for Devaswom, SC/ST Development , R Bindhu the Minister for Higher Education, Antony Raju- Transport, MV Govindan – Ecxcise and Local self-government,PA Mohammed Riyaz – Public Works Department , Tourism,V N Vasavan – Co operative Sector and Registration.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">K Krishnankutty – Electricity, Ahammad Devarkovil – Ports, Saji Cheriyan – Fisheries, culture, V. Abdurahiman – Minority affairs and NRKs, J Chinchu Rani – Animal Husbandry & Dairy Development.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">K. Rajan will be the Minister for Revenue Department, P. Prasad- Agricultural Minister, G. R. Anil – Food and Civil Supplies Department, A.K.
